REVIEW! Tarte Rainforest of the Sea: Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette

Hi Beauties! Today I thought I would review the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea: Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette.

I got this palette for christmas and have been using it on and off ever since. I usually rotate this one and my beloved ABH That Glow palette. Compared to the ABH That Glow kit this one gives off a lot more of a softer glow, in my opinion. I like to wear this palette when I want a little bit more of a natural glow and not such a harsh highlighter.

The packaging for this palette is so pretty! The blue front and the all gold compact makes a really nice contrast and helps the design stay simple and clean. Then once we open the palette there is a fairly decent sized mirror (something I wish the ABH palettes had!)

These highlighters are so soft to touch aswell. They feel very soft and almost creamy. This makes applying them and blending them out much easier! Here are some swatches! Forgive my horrible photography skills!

Overall, I am falling in love with this palette! I think it will soon take over as my favourite! I would recommend purchasing this palette over the ABH That Glow Kit because the colours are more usable. I find that the ABH palette (unless your a MUA and using it on various skin tones) there are only one or two colours that one would use. However with the Tarte palette, I feel that since there are only two actual "highlight" shades in it, I feel it would be more worth your $$ to purchase this one as you could use all the colors.
